Travelling to Liverpool today for the biennial, meeting some of our tutor group at The Bluecoat Gallery, Liverpool 1. Then off to explore a bit ourselves, going to go to Tate Liverpool as they've got Sophie Calle pieces there and Gilbert and George, also want to try to see 'Birmingham, The Magic City' a piece put on by Eastside Projects in Birmingham's Digbeth area.
For some reason this didn't post! But it gives me chance to add some photos!
Unfortunately we only made it to Bluecoat Gallery and Tate, we also caught some street art but didn't make it to the John Moores Uni which is where Eastside Projects were exhibiting.

Size matters??
I have been creating done new work, new characters and different ways of photographing them and displaying the prints, for each if my other project I have created large prints for the final pieces (A1 being the largest). So I have experimented with smaller prints, including passport photographs. I think these are really effective. I think that the viewer will be able to relate to these more than large size prints. I think these simple photographs somehow give the character and the work a narrative.
